ACE. Applications open for 10 Founding Homes.
Your room should know when your day is ending. ACE gently dims your lights and, where you have it, cools your room before sleep. No app to open. No routine to remember.
Apply for a Founding Home Private pilot. 10 homes with smart lights. Free while it runs.22:15Still going. The room is at office brightness and gives you no reason to stop.
Bright light, a warm room and one more open tab keep your body in daytime long after you wanted to be finished.
Every routine anyone has ever recommended asks you to remember something at exactly the moment you are least likely to remember it. ACE takes the remembering off you and puts it in the room.
Not a timer you set. ACE watches when your evenings actually end, which is rarely when you planned.
Light moves from white toward amber over about forty five minutes. If you have a thermostat, the temperature comes down with it. Slowly enough that you notice the effect, not the change.
In the morning: too early, right, or too late. That is the whole feedback loop. It gets closer every night.
The first 10 homes
A private pilot, run properly and kept small. What you get:
To take part:
Smart bedroom lighting you can control from your phone
iPhone for this first pilot
A wearable and a smart thermostat are welcome, neither is needed
Seven nights, then tell me honestly what was wrong with it
Why I am building this
ACE started from a simple belief: sleep advice should not create more work. Your home should make rest easier, quietly, without asking anything of you.
You do not need more discipline in the evening. You need a room that stops pretending it is still the afternoon.
Ten homes. I read every application myself and reply either way.
The Founding Homes pilot is limited to 10 eligible participants with compatible smart home devices. Pilot access is free. ACE is a pre release product and may change, pause or end as it develops. No payment is required to apply.
